NOC Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage NOC applications, permits, design approvals, and infrastructure submission packages.
• Liaise with RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, telecom operators, and other stakeholders.
• Review drawings and technical documents for authority compliance; coordinate design revisions in response to comments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and track submissions through approval and comment closure.
• Maintain registers, trackers, and records; identify approval delays and help resolve schedule issues.
• Ensure submissions meet applicable UAE regulations, authority standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant NOC coordination, authority approvals, or infrastructure design experience.
• UAE authority and utility-provider experience, particularly in Dubai, is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination, authority comments, and an engineering consultancy or infrastructure design environment.

Skills and tools

• Good understanding of infrastructure design submissions, authority approval procedures, and NOC requirements.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with AutoCAD and document management systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills; able to manage concurrent submissions and deadlines.
