Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Technician to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems, access control, and attendance devices, as well as supporting the design and implementation of network infrastructure for our sites. This role also provides first- and second-level technical support to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP/analog), NVRs/DVRs, and monitoring workstations.
• Ensure continuous operation, recording, and data retention for all surveillance systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain access control and biometric attendance systems, integrating them with HR systems.
• Design and implement network layouts for new branches, including routers, switches, access points, and structured cabling.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage IT asset inventory, maintain configuration records, and ensure up-to-date technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for firmware updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in CCTV installation, access control, and IT/network support (multi-site experience is an advantage).
• Certifications (preferred):
• CCNA / CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
• CCTV or Access Control certifications (Hikvision, Dahua, ZKTeco)
• ITIL Foundation
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP addressing, and structured cabling.
• Proficiency in configuring switches, routers, and NVRs.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and attention to detail.
