Overview
Field Engineer (Data Center / AI Infrastructure) – Dubai
We are looking for a
hands-on Field Engineer
to support and maintain cutting-edge AI infrastructure deployed in data centers.
This role is focused on
on-site work with high-performance servers and GPU-based systems
, ensuring everything runs reliably and efficiently.
You’ll be directly involved in installation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operations of critical hardware powering AI workloads.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain server hardware in data center environments
- Perform
- rack & stack, cabling (fiber/power), and hardware deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues (servers, storage, components)
- Monitor systems and ensure uptime and performance
- Support upgrades, replacements, and infrastructure rollouts
- Work closely with vendors on repairs and equipment replacement (RMA)
- Maintain clear documentation of activities and changes
Requirements
- 4+ years in
- data center / IT infrastructure / field engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with
- servers, cabling, and hardware support
- Good understanding of
- network basics (connectivity, patching, fiber)
- Comfortable working
- on-site and in shift rotations
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Nice to have:
- Experience with
- GPU / AI infrastructure or HPC environments
- Exposure to
- liquid cooling systems
- Work setup
- Shift-based role (including evening hours)
- On-site presence in data center environments
