Information Technology Auditor

About This Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Auditor to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, financial processes, risk management, and internal controls. You will be responsible for evaluating IT infrastructures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and recommending improvements to safeguard company assets and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based IT audits, including general IT controls (GITC), application controls, cybersecurity, and data integrity reviews.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ITGC/ITAC in line with SOX/ICFR frameworks).
• Collaborate with financial and operational auditors during integrated audits.
• Review system implementation projects (ERP, CRM, etc.) to ensure appropriate IT governance and controls are in place.
• Identify and assess IT risks related to infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
• Prepare audit reports with clear findings and practical recommendations.
• Monitor remediation of audit issues and follow up with stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and regulatory changes (such as UAE Central Bank, DFSA, ADGM, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, local UAE laws).
• Support external auditors by providing IT audit evidence and addressing their queries.
• Stay updated on new Oracle Fusion releases, patches, and emerging audit risks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in IT Audit, preferably in Big 4 firms or multinational corporations
• Additional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CISM are highly preferred
• Strong experience in Oracle Fusion audit reviews, internal control processes, and identifying control gaps and improvement opportunities
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and cybersecurity standards
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, telecom, healthcare) is a plus
