Manage purchasing and supplier coordination across Marketing, HR, Insurance, Events, Administration, and General Operations.
The role involves sourcing, commercial evaluation, and cost-effective purchasing across departments.
Key responsibilities
- Source suppliers and service providers in the UAE and internationally.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and evaluate commercial terms.
- Procure marketing materials, event services, office supplies, insurance, HR services, and other business requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records, invoices, contracts, and supplier databases.
- Coordinate deliveries, service providers, contract renewals, and invoice follow-ups.
- Track budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide procurement updates.
- Support communication with Chinese suppliers and China-based teams where required.
Candidate requirements
- The description lists 5 years of experience in the opening details and 2–4 years in the candidate requirements.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, or commercial administration.
- Indirect procurement experience in marketing, events, corporate services, or insurance is preferred.
- Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, quotation comparison, and follow-up skills; good knowledge of UAE suppliers and service providers.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Fluent English is required; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
