Responsibilities
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Maintain a professional presentation at all times
- Ensure guest satisfaction by adhering to service standards as specified for In Room Dining.
- Assist employees as needed to ensure the best possible service.
- Ensure all special events and amenities are properly presented in accordance with guest and hotel specifications and standards.
- Maintain established controls for stock with pars and orders.
- Enforce Security controls (keys, lockdown, etc.) to include control of beverage stock.
- Assign side work and record attendance.
- Inspect staff as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification, etc.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees.
- Supervise all In Room Dining colleagues

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to assist manager and order takers in all areas of departmental responsibility.
- Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Room Service.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Food & Beverage, incl. Wines and Liquors.
- Must have strong PC skills in meeting administrative requirements.
- Previous point of sale system experience required - Micros is an asset
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
