Job Summary

Network Operations & Support

• Provide 2nd Level Restoration support for Intelligent Network services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service and network issues within agreed SLAs.
• Investigate network disturbances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate complex system issues to appropriate support teams when required.
• Monitor and maintain system hardware and software health.

Configuration & Change Management

• Handle Change Requests and implement network configuration changes.
• Design and implement tariffs, service classes, and business configurations.
• Prepare and execute software, hardware, and configuration upgrades.
• Maintain system integrity during network modifications and deployments.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Analyze network performance and traffic measurements.
• Generate, review, and interpret performance reports.
• Identify network deficiencies and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Support capacity planning and future network growth requirements.

System Administration & Virtualization

• Administer Linux-based systems and virtualized environments.
• Manage VMware infrastructure including ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, and High Availability clusters.
• Support HP C7000 Blade Systems and HP 3PAR Storage environments.
• Configure SAN switches, network bay switches, storage volumes, and virtualization resources.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines using OVF templates.

Disaster Recovery & Automation

• Support SDP Geo-Redundancy implementations and disaster recovery activities.
• Automate operational procedures using SUF Playlists, Shell Scripting, and system jobs.
• Participate in business continuity and resilience planning activities.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain operational procedures and maintenance routines.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices.
• Participate in technical meetings and support team initiatives.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and reports.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in telecom core network operations or Intelligent Network environments.
• Hands-on experience with Ericsson Charging Systems and IN platforms.
• Experience working in mission-critical telecom environments.

Telecom & Intelligent Network

• Strong knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, and Core Network technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Ericsson Charging System nodes:
• SDP
• CCN
• AIR
• VS
• ECMS
• OCC
• IVR
• NgCRS
• Strong understanding of tariff management and RMA handling.
• Experience with IN Business Configuration and service provisioning.
• Knowledge of routing, traffic routing, triggering tables, and node integration.

Virtualization & Infrastructure

• Advanced VMware administration experience:
• vSphere
• vCenter
• ESXi
• vSAN
• Datastore Management
• vSwitch Configuration

• High Availability Clustering

• HP C7000 Blade Infrastructure administration.
• HP 3PAR Storage configuration and capacity planning.
• SAN switch and network switch configuration experience.

Systems & Databases

• Strong Linux System Administration experience.
• Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Unix Shell Scripting expertise.
• Programming and automation skills.
• IP Networking and Systems Integration knowledge.
• Experience with software and hardware upgrades.

Network Operations

• Strong understanding of network topology and traffic behavior.
• Knowledge of OSS, GPRS, and related telecom technologies.
• Experience with network surveillance and performance management tools.
• Ability to analyze performance reports and recommend optimization actions.
• Experience handling emergency situations within telecom networks.
