TELUS Health Retirement Consulting provides pension and savings, actuarial, compensation, financial well-being consulting, and outsourcing services.

The practice administers defined-benefit pension plans and serves more than five million plan participants.

Role overview

The Implementation Analyst provides analytical and technical support to clients, plan members, and the Administration team.

The role helps implement and maintain pension administration systems and processes, aligning configurations with client requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and objectives.
  • Configure ARIEL basic plan parameters and test calculation results as needed; implement and configure software solutions for clients.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and train and support end users on new systems and functionalities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Document processes, configurations, and system changes, and improve implementation procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • More than one year of experience in software implementation, configuration, testing, and support.
  • Experience using Excel and Microsoft Office; strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Assets

  • Additional coursework in pension administration or mathematics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ARIEL or other business software systems is desirable.
  • Excel and Access VBA experience and bilingualism are considered assets.
