IFS Procurement Consultant

Role overview

Procurement solution delivery

• Analyze procurement requirements and translate them into functional solutions in IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
• Configure and implement purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, and purchasing workflows.
• Support the procurement lifecycle from requisition through invoice matching.
• Manage supplier records, agreements, approvals, pricing structures, and procurement policies.
• Integrate procurement with inventory, warehouse management, finance, and other ERP modules.

Implementation support

• Run stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and document processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate enhancements with technical teams.
• Support data migration and supplier data cleansing.
• Develop test scenarios and assist with testing.
• Prepare user documentation and train procurement users.
• Ensure solutions meet internal controls and business requirements.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an IFS Procurement Consultant or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and experience implementing procurement workflows.
• Knowledge of ERP integration across departments.
• Experience gathering requirements and mapping processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• IFS Procurement certification or other relevant certification.
• Experience with IFS Cloud implementation, ERP transformation, or full-cycle implementations.
• Previous UAE or GCC experience.
• Familiarity with supplier onboarding and procurement governance.

Contract and availability

• Contract duration: 12 months.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.

Work arrangement

• On-site work, subject to project requirements.
