The position combines BAU service delivery, project work, operational administration, and stakeholder support.
Role responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day IT service delivery, vendors, incidents, and operational priorities.
- Deliver technology projects from initial scoping and planning through implementation, adoption, and transition into BAU.
- Manage technology vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.
- Act as an escalation point for service desk issues and major incidents.
- Oversee access, licences, devices, and user lifecycle activities.
- Manage project budgets, risks, milestones, and vendor deliverables.
- Translate business operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Contribute to ICT roadmap, governance, cybersecurity, and emerging technology initiatives.
Required experience and skills
- At least 5 years of IT experience, including strong service delivery or ICT operations exposure.
- Experience managing cloud-based technology environments and third-party vendors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, networking, security, and end-user technology.
- Ability to challenge vendors, assess solutions, and make sound technology decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach and ability to take ownership independently.
Advantageous experience
- Exposure to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is advantageous.
- Experience in construction, property, hospitality, or another operationally diverse environment is advantageous.
Compensation
- The advertisement states a salary range of $130,000–$145,000 plus superannuation.
