Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Help customers locate products and provide accurate product information
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper arrangement of shelves and aisles
• Refill and restock shelves to ensure product availability at all times
• Ensure correct pricing, labeling, and barcode accuracy
• Monitor expiry dates and remove damaged or expired products
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method, especially in fresh, chilled, and dairy sections
• Assist in receiving deliveries, checking quantities, and arranging stock in storage areas
• Support inventory control and stock counting activities
• Handle customer complaints or queries and report to supervisors when needed
• Assist at billing counters or packing sections during busy hours
• Ensure proper handling of perishable items like fruits, vegetables, dairy, and frozen goods
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and attractive product displays
• Keep back store and storage areas organized and clean
• Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve sales targets
• Assist in promotional activities and product demonstrations when required
• Monitor stock levels and inform management about low stock or fast-moving items
• Ensure security of goods and prevent loss or damage
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the store manager

Requirements

• Male candidates preferred
• Previous experience in hypermarket/supermarket is an advantage
• Basic communication skills in English (Hindi/Arabic is a plus)
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Willing to work in shifts
