Job Description
We are hiring **cashiers (Male & Female)** for a hypermarket in Jebel Ali Industrial Area.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and basic knowledge of Hindi to interact with customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle billing and cash transactions accurately using POS system
- Scan products and ensure correct pricing and quantity
- Accept payments (cash, card, digital payments) and provide correct change
- Maintain proper cash register balance at the beginning and end of shifts
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policy
- Assist customers with inquiries in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter
- Pack items or assist in bagging when required
- Coordinate with sales staff for product price checks or barcode issues
- Report any discrepancies or system issues to the supervisor
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and security guidelines
Requirements
- Male & Female candidates can apply
- Basic knowledge of **Hindi is required** (English is an advantage)
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Basic computer/POS knowledge
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Willing to work in shifts
