Job Overview

Key Responsibilities – Butchery Man

• Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various meat products as per retail standards
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely for meat processing
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and stock rotation (FIFO method)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the butchery section
• Inspect meat quality and freshness; report any issues to the supervisor
• Assist customers with product selection and provide basic product knowledge
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Handle and store meat products at correct temperatures
• Support daily inventory checks and stock replenishment
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper utilization of meat products
• **Language: Malayalam/Hindi**

Key Responsibilities – Fishmonger

• Clean, gut, fillet, and prepare various types of fish and seafood
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of fish products
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the fish counter and tools
• Check fish quality and report any issues to the supervisor
• Assist customers with fish selection and provide basic product information
• Follow proper safety and health regulations during fish handling
• Support inventory checks and replenishment of fish stocks.
• Package and display fish products attractively

Requirements

• Previous experience in butchery or fish handling preferred
• Knowledge of meat/fish cutting techniques and tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
• Team player with a responsible work attitude
