Overview

The HVAC Salesman is responsible for generating sales, developing customer relationships, and

expanding the company’s market presence in ducting works and HVAC accessories including Pre-

Insulated and GI ducting.

This role involves identifying new business opportunities, handling client

inquiries, preparing quotations, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with production and

operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction

1. Sales Strategy Execution & Business Development

  • Implement sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for ducting and HVAC
  • accessories.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, consultants, and
  • project owners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to grow
  • market share.
  • Promote company products and services to increase brand visibility and customer base.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and project opportunities to maximize conversion

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients and projects.
  • Visit customers and project sites regularly to understand requirements and provide
  • technical support.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules within company guidelines.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

3. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities to management.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline and customer database.
  • Monitor quotation status, order confirmations, and project progress.
  • Analyze sales performance and suggest actions to improve results and achieve targets.

4. Product & Market Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of:
  • Pre-Insulated Ducting
  • GI Ducting
  • HVAC Accessories and Fittings
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market pricing.
  • Ensure correct understanding of product specifications, applications, and standards.
  • Provide technical clarification to customers in coordination with engineering/production
  • teams.

5. Coordination with Internal Departments

  • Coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure timely fabrication and
  • delivery.
  • Work closely with logistics and stores for material availability and dispatch schedules.
  • Coordinate with finance/accounts for pricing approvals, credit limits, and payment
  • follow-ups.
  • Ensure customer orders are executed as per approved specifications and timelines.

6. Sales Planning & Target Achievement

  • Support management in preparing sales forecasts and target planning.
  • Work towards achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets.
  • Control selling expenses and ensure efficient use of company resources.
  • Provide feedback from the market to management for business improvement and
  • product development.
