Key responsibilities
- Create mechanical plans, ductwork layouts, piping schematics, and equipment schedules using BIM and CAD tools.
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations, airflow analysis, and energy modeling to size equipment such as chillers, boilers, AHUs, and VRF systems.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and local building codes, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA life-safety regulations.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with architects, electrical engineers, and structural teams.
- Prepare technical specifications, Design Basis Reports, Bills of Quantities, and cost estimates.
- Visit sites to review shop drawings, inspect installations, troubleshoot field issues, and assist with system testing and validation.
Pay
- AED 20–30 per month.
Experience and qualifications
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC Designer Engineer in the UAE is required.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering is specified.
- The application questions list AutoCAD, HAP, and Revit MEP.
- CAD drawing skills are specified.
