HV Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing High Voltage (HV) substation projects in compliance with DEWA standards and project specifications, including reviewing electrical design drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise High Voltage (HV) substation projects in compliance with DEWA standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate and monitor electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and pre-commissioning activities for 132/11 kV or above substations.
• Review electrical design drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, DEWA authorities, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with DEWA regulations, safety standards, and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress, quality control, and site activities.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection requests, and project documentation.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in DEWA High Voltage Substation projects within the UAE.
• Mandatory experience in 132/11 kV or above substation projects.
• DEWA approval is required.
• Strong knowledge of HV electrical systems, testing, commissioning, and project coordination.
