Support day-to-day employee relations, resolve employee concerns in a timely manner, ensure compliance with company policies and UAE Labour Law, and promote a positive working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle employee grievances, complaints, and workplace concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support disciplinary procedures, investigations, counselling sessions, and documentation.
- Coordinate with line managers and employees on employee relations matters.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and UAE Labour Law.
- Maintain accurate records of complaints, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Conduct regular employee engagement visits to operational sites and address employee concerns.
- Support employee welfare initiatives and promote a positive working environment.
- Prepare employee relations reports and highlight recurring issues to management.
- Coordinate with HR Shared Services on employee-related administrative matters.
- Support conflict resolution and guide employees and managers on HR procedures.
- Prepare dashboard reports.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; CIPD is preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR or employee relations; experience with blue-collar or artisan employees is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR practices.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee matters professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Power BI is required.
