Property Human Resources Manager supporting daily HR operations and services for employees and business leaders.
The role covers recruitment, compensation, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED and three years of experience in HR, management operations, or a related professional area; or a two-year degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related major and one year of relevant experience.
Recruitment and hiring
- Support hiring HR team members, maintain external recruitment contacts, attend job fairs, and network with local organizations.
- Monitor candidate identification and selection, advise property managers, support job advertising, and perform quality control on candidate selection.
Benefits and employee development
- Respond to unemployment claims, review and correct provider reports, prepare activity reports, and represent the property at hearings.
- Coordinate orientation, cross-training, ongoing training, and participation by new hires and leaders in training programs.
Employee relations and compliance
- Maintain employee communication; review discipline documentation; address concerns and escalate issues to appropriate HR leaders.
- Maintain required employment, performance, compensation, and confidential medical records securely and in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Communicate property rules and regulations and facilitate applicable drug-testing processes.
