Role Description
This is a part-time Human Resources Manager role based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.
The Human Resources Manager will oversee the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
Responsibilities
include managing HR policies, maintaining compliant HR records, and ensuring alignment with local labor laws and relevant regulatory requirements.
The role involves providing guidance to leadership on workforce planning, compensation practices, and employee relations in a fast-growing fintech and DeFi environment.
The Human Resources Manager will also support culture-building initiatives, training and development programs, and employee engagement activities to foster an inclusive and high-performing workplace.
Qualifications
- Strong HR operations skills, including experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance, preferably with exposure to UAE regulations and experience in regulated or financial services environments.
- Proficiency in HR documentation, policy development, and use of HRIS or similar HR tools and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting culture, employee engagement, and learning and development initiatives in dynamic, growth-stage companies.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
- Interest in or familiarity with fintech, blockchain, or DeFi is a plus, along with experience in start-up or scale-up environments.
