About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
- Identify hazards and perform risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with Qatar HSE regulations and company standards
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports
- Maintain HSE documentation and records
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Liaise with regulatory authorities when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety, or related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of HSE experience (Gulf experience preferred)
- Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA
- Knowledge of local Qatar safety regulations
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- NEBOSH IGC certification
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
- Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per hour
