About This Role
We are looking for an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer to oversee and enforce health and safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong risk assessment skills and a commitment to creating a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Deliver safety training to employees and subcontractors.
- Report and investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain records and provide regular HSE reports to management.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer, with at least 2 years in Qatar.
- Experience in construction or industrial projects is preferred.
- Certifications:
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certifications.
- Special Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Qatari safety regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication and training skills.
