Role Overview
Gulf Concrete & Blocks is hiring one HSE Officer in Ras Al Khaimah.
The role requires 2-3 years of experience and covers HSE activities across plants, production areas, workshops, warehouses, offices, and project sites.
HSE Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections, identify hazards, and complete risk assessments and job safety analyses.
- Monitor safe operation of concrete production equipment, heavy vehicles, and plant traffic.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain records for incidents, inspections, risk assessments, training, permits, and corrective actions.
- Monitor safety for maintenance, welding, fabrication, electrical work, work at height, confined spaces, and hot work.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, including fire safety, first aid, evacuation procedures, and drills.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist with audits and regulatory inspections and prepare HSE reports and safety statistics.
- Promote safety culture and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
