Qualifications and experience

• Graduate or postgraduate qualification in accountancy.
• Qualified CA, CPA, or ACCA is stated as mandatory; a separate listing specifies CA/CMA/ACCA as required.
• At least five years of relevant experience as a Finance Manager in the hypermarket industry.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting, SAP/ERP systems, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting under company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other applicable financial regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide financial information and supporting documents.
• Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and minimize risks.
• Work with HR, Operations, Procurement, and other departments on financial matters.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
• Maintain accurate and secure financial records and documentation.
• Lead, supervise, and support the finance team.
