The team delivers projects from design through construction and commissioning and has operated in Abu Dhabi’s Oil & Gas sector since 1980.
Role overview
The employer is seeking an experienced HSE Officer for an offshore project.
The assignment is expected to last three months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the HSE Manual and project-specific HSE plans; implement and improve the HSE management system.
- Promote HSE awareness, provide employee and visitor inductions, and issue safety alerts and daily toolbox talks.
- Organize the safety incentive programme and conduct internal and second-party audits, tracking findings through closeout.
- Approve and audit subcontractors and measure their performance; evaluate compliance and maintain legal and other requirements.
- Deliver basic firefighting and first-aid training, conduct planned drills, and lead the Emergency Response Team.
- Conduct risk assessments and participate in incident investigations and HSE studies, including HAZOP, HAZID, and SAFOPS.
Requirements
- Proven offshore experience in the Middle East and three to five years of Oil & Gas project experience in the Middle East.
- ADNOC Offshore approval is mandatory.
- A technical diploma or bachelor’s degree is required.
- IOSH and NEBOSH certifications are mandatory.
- Immediate availability is required.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards; familiarity with ADNOC standards and Life Saving Rules.
