r to lead and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities across our projects in the UAE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE management systems, ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and international best practices

s is highly desirable and will be given strong preference
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
- Lead HSE teams across multiple projects and provide technical guidance and support.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implementation of control measures.
- Monitor site activities and perform regular inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns, and emergency response drills.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports, KPIs, statistics, and client documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders on all HSE matters.
- Drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Professional HSE certifications such as
Nebosh Igc
,
NEBOSH Diploma
,
IOSH
- , or equivalent.
- Minimum
- 10+ years of HSE experience
- within the construction/contracting industry.
- Proven experience working for a
- main contractor or MEP contractor
- .
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience managing HSE requirements on large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead site HSE teams and work effectively in fast-paced project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in
- MEP contracting projects

- Previous involvement in
- Data Center construction projects
- (highly preferred).
- Experience working with international clients and stringent HSE compliance requirements.
- Additional certifications such as Lead Auditor (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001) are advantageous.
