Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies that align with regulatory requirements and the company’s objectives, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, utilizing risk assessment tools and methodologies to mitigate risks effectively.
3.
Lead training sessions and workshops for employees on health and safety practices, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
4.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into operational procedures, ensuring that all departments adhere to established guidelines.
5.
Monitor and report on key health and safety performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the organization.
6.
Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date to maintain compliance.
7.
Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare employees for potential incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response to emergencies.
8.
Engage with employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety, encouraging open communication regarding health and safety concerns and suggestions.
9.
Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes, continuously updating policies and procedures to reflect new developments in health and safety management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the accounting industry.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
- Ability to lead safety audits and inspections with a keen eye for detail and compliance.
- Experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
