HSE Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety regulations at the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE HSE regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection reports, and safety records.
• Coordinate with site management, supervisors, and workers to resolve safety issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe working practices.

Requirements

• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• Previous experience in an HSE Engineer or similar HSE role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Good communication skills are mandatory.
• Fluency in both Hindi and English is mandatory.
• Ability to communicate safety instructions clearly to workers and management.
• Good reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification or HSE-related education is preferred.

Pay

• AED 3,000–5,000 per month.
