Role overview

Human resources duties

• Monitor employee relations issues and assist with resolution and follow-up.
• Support managers and leaders in handling HR matters; report employee relations issues to HR management.
• Monitor hiring and recruitment for compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and standards.
• Respond to employee and management questions about HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
• Share information about employee relations, activities, personnel policies, and programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
• Assist with annual employee survey logistics, administration, and scheduling; answer phone calls and record messages.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality, communicate professionally, build positive working relationships, and use computers and/or point-of-sale systems for work information.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is listed.
