HR Policy Specialist

Role overview

Accountabilities

• Draft and maintain policies, contract templates, and employee handbook content across countries; partner with Legal on amendments.
• Monitor employment law requirements by market and keep policies compliant as regulations change.
• Manage policy and template library version control, consistency, and rollout.
• Partner with Payroll, HR Business Partners, Legal, and the business on change management and HR briefings.
• Evaluate policy effectiveness, analyze HR data, gather feedback, and report findings.
• Recommend improvements to engagement and operational efficiency using data, workplace trends, and market practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years’ experience in employment law, HR policy, or benefits and working conditions, from a legal or senior HR background.
• At least three years’ experience in a large multinational organization with complex matrix reporting.
• Strong drafting and writing skills for policies, contracts, and employee-facing documentation.
• Analytical ability to quantify the cost and business impact of policy or process changes.
• Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to identify problems and drive solutions.
• Comfort using AI tools to support drafting while retaining independent critical judgment.
• HRIS experience, including SAP SuccessFactors or similar, is a plus; aviation experience is advantageous.

Recruitment process

• Shortlisted candidates complete a recorded video interview, followed by a hiring-manager technical interview that may include a business case; finalists may have a further interview.
