Role description

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and make decisions on creative vision, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners; mentor teams and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Improve processes and communication, contribute to long-term planning, support business development, and represent the organization’s values and brand.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in visual effects, animation, post-production, or related creative industries, including responsibility for large, complex projects.
• Strong project and team management, resource planning, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Deep understanding of VFX or animation pipelines, production workflows, and industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Ability to set and communicate creative and strategic direction while balancing artistic quality with operational and financial constraints.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills; commitment to inclusive, respectful practices.
• Track record of mentoring and developing diverse teams and building a positive studio culture.
• International client or partner experience and familiarity with global production environments are highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film, animation, media production, or a related field; advanced credentials are a plus.
• Comfort with fast-changing conditions and informed decisions under time and budget pressures.
