Job Summary

The HR Generalist & PRO Officer is responsible for managing government-related processes, employee documentation, visa and residency procedures, HR operations, payroll administration, and general administrative activities.

The role ensures compliance with Qatar labor and immigration regulations, maintains accurate employee records, supports payroll and employee lifecycle processes, coordinates with government authorities, and provides administrative support to facilitate efficient business operations and employee services.

Duties

  • Process and manage all government-related transactions through relevant Qatar government entities.
  • Handle employment visas, work permits, residence permits (QID), visa renewals, transfers, cancellations, and exit procedures.
  • Coordinate medical examinations, biometric appointments, and residency formalities for employees.
  • Liaise with government authorities regarding labor, immigration, municipality, customs, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor visa, passport, QID, and license expiry dates and ensure timely renewals.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to government portals and authorities.
  • Support company registration renewals, commercial licenses, establishment cards, and other legal documents.

· HR & Administrative Support

  • Maintain employee files and personnel records in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare employment-related documents including offer letters, employment certificates, NOCs, and other HR correspondence.
  • Assist with attendance records, leave administration, and employee documentation.
  • Support HR team in maintaining employee databases and HR systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and government agencies.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement requests.
  • Organize company records and administrative documentation.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll, end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and other employee-related payments while ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a PRO, Administration Officer, or similar role in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
  • Experience working with government portals and online systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
