Assists management with staffing and employee development and provides courteous guest and employee service.
Human resources and administration
- Monitor employee relations issues, assist with resolution and follow-up, and alert HR management to concerns.
- Monitor recruitment processes for compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and standards.
- Respond to questions about HR programs and policies and share personnel information with employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Assist with logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Answer phone calls and record messages.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
Guest and workplace duties
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Welcome guests, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- No license or certification specified.
