Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business and Group HR strategy; drive manpower budgeting and planning.
• Run employee engagement surveys and initiatives; improve recruitment and lead team-member induction.
• Advise on people matters and HR policies, support change management, and conduct disciplinary inquiries.
• Drive monthly reward and recognition activities and employee events.
• Partner with department and functional heads on performance and leadership requirements; develop processes to address them.
• Lead performance management, including mid-year and annual reviews, to align people performance with business performance.
• Ensure timely payroll and other HR operational inputs are provided to the relevant departments.
• Use data and people insights to improve HR efficiency and effectiveness; drive group-wide initiatives, processes, systems, and best practices.
• Govern policies and benefits, uphold organizational values and culture, and support the concept across locations.

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree specializing in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Prior hospitality-industry HR experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and digital HR technology.
• Advanced knowledge of HR processes and policies, including management development, recruitment, expatriate recruitment tools, competency-based hiring, compensation modeling, and performance management systems and models.
• Awareness of local labor law and legal compliance.
• Teamwork, collaboration, communication, networking, planning, and organizing skills.
