About the Role
We are seeking a warm and attentive Hostess to welcome guests and manage reservations at our upscale restaurant in Cairo.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of hospitality experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly in a professional and courteous manner
Manage reservation system, maintain accurate waitlists, and handle walk-ins
Provide guests with menus, explain daily specials, and answer menu-related questions
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely seating and table turnover
Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain a tidy and organized host station, entryway, and waiting area
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of experience as a hostess, front desk associate, or similar hospitality role
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, confident demeanor with a professional appearance
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation software
Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English
Experience
in an upscale or fine dining establishment
Knowledge of additional languages
Certification in hospitality or customer service training
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
