Role overview

Guest and dining-room service

• Greet guests, determine party size, seat guests at available clean tables, and guide them through the dining rooms.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
• Ensure place settings have clean silverware, napkins, and other standard items; check menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
• Maintain clean work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures and monitor seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.

Standards and teamwork

• Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and follow quality standards.
• Welcome guests, communicate professionally, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and support team goals and positive working relationships.
• Remain on feet or seated for extended periods and move, carry, push, pull, or place items up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications

• No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified as necessary.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• No license or certification is listed.
