Honeywell DCS Service Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, commission, and troubleshoot Honeywell DCS systems.
• Support Experion PKS servers, operator stations, and C300 controllers; execute upgrades, software updates, Mod Packs, and configuration changes.
• Perform loop checks, functional testing, startup support, and system validation; diagnose hardware, software, network, and control system issues.
• Support virtualized environments and system infrastructure; coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams during site activities.
• Prepare technical reports and commissioning documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, control systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–4 years of industrial automation and control systems experience, including at least 1–2 years hands-on with Honeywell Experion PKS.
• Strong Oil & Gas experience and proven site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Technical skills

• Honeywell Experion PKS R530 or higher, C300 controllers, Honeywell servers and operator stations, DVM R800 Series, alarm management systems, and PHD Historian.
• VMware environment, industrial networks, and system integration.

Preferred qualifications

• Honeywell product certifications and training, offshore commissioning experience, and site safety and access certifications are preferred.
