A **Senior Charge Nurse in homecare** leads nursing teams, manages patient care plans, and oversees daily clinical operations across residential settings.

They ensure high-quality, continuous patient care, manage staff schedules, and serve as the primary liaison between patients, families, and physicians.

· **Care Oversight:** Monitor direct and indirect patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

· **Plan Implementation:** Develop and adjust complex nursing care plans for patients with varying acuity.

· **Emergency Response:** Lead and coordinate responses to medical emergencies in the home environment.

· **Family Liaison:** Communicate patient status, changes in treatment, and ongoing care needs to families and physicians

· **Staff Management & Logistics**

· **Resource Allocation:** Assign duties, manage shifts, and balance workloads among field nurses and support staff.

· **Mentorship:** Provide orientation, ongoing training, and regular performance evaluations for junior nursing staff.

· **Supply Chain:** Coordinate the effective utilization and inventory management of medical equipment and consumables.

· **Regulatory Compliance:** Audit clinical care and documentation to ensure adherence to local health regulations (e.g.

DHA/DOH standards).

· **Infection Control:** Promote and monitor compliance with homecare infection control policies.

· **Incident Management:** Investigate and implement corrective actions for any patient complaints or clinical incidents

· **Role Requirements**

· **Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.

· **Licensure:** Valid local registration (e.g., DHA, DOH, or HAAD) and valid Basic Life Support (BLS).

**Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a senior, team-leader, or charge nurse capacity in a homecare set up
