HM PreCoding Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of experience in a medical (billing preferably) and or revenue cycle environment
• Knowledge of EMR documentation systems preferred
• Certification and Licenses:
• CONTACTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION:
• Frequent contact, meetings, and collaboration with training and auditing teams
• WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Works independently, typically a 40-hour work week to include overtime as required
• Continuous sitting
• Psychological stress/pressure levels may be moderate to high
• Frequent oral & written communication and listening skills
• Extensive computer use
• The job requires a high level of mental awareness and concentration ability
