Helper / Assistant Worker supports furniture production and installation teams with material handling, furniture assembly, packing, loading, and workshop housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Carry, move, sort, and stack panels, hardware, raw materials, and finished furniture.
- Assist carpenters and other craftsmen with cutting, edge-banding, assembly, sanding, and related tasks as instructed.
- Pack, protect, load, and unload finished furniture and materials carefully.
- Support on-site furniture installation by carrying materials, assisting the installation team, and collecting leftover materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop, workstations, and storage areas.
- Remove waste materials and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Handle tools and materials carefully to prevent damage and wastage.
- Perform other production and installation support duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- No formal education is required; factory or furniture industry experience is an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of handling materials and lifting loads safely.
- Hardworking, punctual, disciplined, and willing to learn.
- Able to follow instructions and work cooperatively with the team.
- Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean work environment.
- Willing to work overtime and support on-site installations, including night shifts when required.
- Basic communication skills in English, Chinese, Hindi, or Urdu are advantageous.
- Previous UAE work experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 per month.
