Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of personnel, materials, and documents while strictly complying with ADNOC HSE, traffic, and site regulations.
1. Transportation
- Safely transport employees, visitors, and client representatives to and from site, camp, and offices
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off as per project schedule
- Transport materials, documents, and light equipment as required
- Follow designated routes and site movement plans
2. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Comply with all ADNOC HSE policies and procedures
- Wear mandatory PPE at all times (coverall, helmet, safety shoes, etc.)
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection before operation
- Ensure all passengers wear seat belts
- Adhere to site speed limits and defensive driving practices
- Immediately report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions
3. Vehicle Maintenance
- Maintain vehicle in clean and serviceable condition
- Perform routine checks (fuel, oil, coolant, tires, brakes)
- Ensure valid vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, permits)
- Report any defects, damages, or maintenance requirements
4. Site Compliance & Security
- Follow ADNOC and CICPA security procedures
- Carry valid Emirates ID, driving license, and site access pass
- Cooperate with security checks at entry/exit points
- Ensure no unauthorized materials are transported
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily logbook/trip sheet
- Record trips, mileage, fuel usage, and timings
- Report delays, breakdowns, or route deviations to supervisor
6. Communication
- Coordinate with transport coordinator and site supervisor
- Follow instructions from management and client representatives
- Use communication devices as required
7. Emergency Handling
- Respond effectively to accidents and emergencies
- Inform HSE and supervisor immediately
- Assist in emergency evacuation if required
8. Professional Conduct
- Maintain discipline and professional behavior
- Avoid reckless driving, overspeeding, and mobile use while driving
- Follow company policies and site regulations
- Respect multicultural work environment
• Valid UAE Driving License
- **Valid ADSD (Abu Dhabi Safety Driving Certificate)** – Mandatory
- Minimum 2–3 years driving experience (oil & gas experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and site driving rules
- Basic understanding of HSE requirements
- Physically fit and able to work in site conditions
Reporting To
- Transport Coordinator / Site Supervisor / Client Representative
Working Conditions
- Site-based role (onshore/offshore as applicable)
- Long working hours and shift-based duty
- Exposure to harsh weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
