Role Overview
The heavy vehicle driver sells and delivers products directly to customers using a company vehicle.
The role combines sales, delivery, customer service, and stock management while supporting sales targets.
Key Requirements
- Ability to sell products and achieve sales targets.
- Negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to promote new products and offers.
- Upselling and cross-selling ability.
- Good verbal communication with customers.
- Ability to explain product features and prices clearly.
- Fluent English.
- Two to three years of experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail shops, supermarkets, and customers on a daily route.
- Introduce new products, discounts, and promotions.
- Deliver products safely and on time according to customer orders.
- Issue invoices, receipts, or delivery notes.
- Submit daily sales collections and reports.
- Load products from the warehouse into the vehicle.
- Monitor vehicle stock and return unsold or damaged products.
- Maintain the vehicle, including checking fuel, tires, oil, and general condition.
- Follow traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain sales, delivery, route, and inventory records.
- Report market feedback, stock shortages, and customer issues.
