Job Responsibilities
- Enforce company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures across all project sites
- Perform routine safety inspections to identify unsafe practices and hazardous conditions
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety standards
- Prepare and implement risk assessments, method statements, and safety control measures
- Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and subcontractors
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and submit detailed reports
- Ensure all workers properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain accurate HSE records, permits, inspection reports, and incident documentation
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve safety concerns and improve site safety performance
- Support emergency response procedures and ensure readiness on-site
- Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage safe working practices among employees
& Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification is an advantage
- Minimum experience in construction site safety within the UAE preferred
- Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, construction safety regulations, and HSE standards
- Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Good communication, reporting, and training skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies
- Proficient in preparing safety documentation and reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
