HSE Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi and specified as onsite.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, science, or an HSE discipline from an institution authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas or petrochemical projects, installation, commissioning, or operations.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
- Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001 or ISO 14001.
HSE capabilities
- Experience in incident investigation, HSE audits, risk assessment, PTW, and emergency response planning.
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and H2S control measures.
- Ability to lead HSE teams and conduct safety training.
Responsibilities
- Lead HSE teams on oil and gas or petrochemical projects, installations, commissioning, or operations.
- Conduct incident investigations, HSE audits, and risk assessments.
- Support and manage permit-to-work processes and emergency response planning.
- Apply HSE management systems and H2S control measures.
- Conduct safety training.
