Role Description
The Head of Web5 & Decentralized Identity will lead strategic initiatives to design and implement decentralized identity solutions within the Web5 framework.
This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and compliant identity frameworks that align with Weritas's mission.
Responsibilities
include researching emerging technologies, developing protocols, collaborating with external partners, and driving innovation in the decentralized identity ecosystem.
This is a full-time remote position that requires a forward-thinking approach and the ability to lead complex projects in a fast-evolving technological landscape.
Qualifications
- Expertise in decentralized identity, blockchain technology, and Web5 architecture
- Proficiency in distributed systems, cryptography, and decentralized protocols
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing large technology projects
- Skilled in establishing partnerships with global technology and financial industry stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation mindset
- Familiarity with financial inclusion strategies and credit ecosystems is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
