Our client is a leading Interior Fit-Out contractor operating as part of a wider construction group, delivering high-quality projects across the UAE.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced
Head of Pre-Construction
to lead all pre-construction activities for the fit-out business.
Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the full pre-construction function, ensuring successful planning, pricing, design coordination, and tender delivery across the business.
The successful candidate will drive strategy, manage teams, and play a key role in securing and delivering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pre-construction and estimating function
- Oversee tendering, bid management, and pricing strategy
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project scope
- Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and delivery teams
- Manage client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships
- Build and develop high-performing pre-construction teams
- Ensure smooth transition from tender stage to project delivery
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar
- 10+ years’ experience within construction and interior fit-out
- Proven leadership experience in pre-construction or estimating
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of fit-out projects
- UAE market experience preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
