Overview
Elite Private School, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Section (Middle School) to join our leadership team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the academic and pastoral development of the Middle School section while ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, student wellbeing, and discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Middle School section with more than 500 students effectively
- Monitor academic performance and student progress
- Support and supervise teachers to ensure high-quality teaching practices
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Ensure implementation of school policies and ADEK requirements
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support student discipline, wellbeing, and personal development
- Coordinate school activities, assessments, and section initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Teaching qualification/license
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with leadership experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in UAE schools and familiarity with ADEK regulations is an advantage

Qualifications
- Bachelors of Masters degree
- Qualification in Educational Leadership is preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
- Extensive experience in curriculum coordination and development
- Proficiency in fostering collaboration and innovation among educators
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data for improved teaching and learning outcomes
- Deep understanding of best practices in education and pedagogy
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a school environment
- Commitment to student excellence and holistic development
