Head of High School Section

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the High School section with more than 700 students effectively
• Monitor academic performance and student progress
• Support and supervise teachers to ensure high-quality teaching practices
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Ensure implementation of school policies and ADEK requirements
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support student discipline, wellbeing, and personal development
• Coordinate school activities, assessments, and section initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in Education or relevant field (Master’s Degree preferred)
• Leadership Qualification
• Minimum 7 years of teaching experience with leadership experience in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in UAE schools and familiarity with ADEK regulations is an advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree
• Qualification in Educational Leadership is preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
• Extensive knowledge in Elective courses, AP courses etc
• Proficiency in fostering collaboration and innovation among educators
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data for improved teaching and learning outcomes
• Deep understanding of best practices in education and pedagogy
• Master’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a school environment
• Commitment to student excellence and holistic development
