Your Role
The Head of Sales - Middle East will lead the regional commercial agenda across distributors, customers, channels, and market execution.
This is a broad leadership mandate focused on building sustainable growth, strengthening route-to-market effectiveness, expanding market presence, and improving commercial performance across the region.
You will work closely with distributor partners, customers, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure the business continues to scale while maintaining strong commercial discipline and execution standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the Middle East sales strategy to deliver regional growth objectives.
- Build, develop, and manage distributor and importer relationships across priority markets.
- Strengthen retail presence, distribution quality, and in-market execution.
- Drive improvements in availability, visibility, and product movement across channels.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and expansion opportunities.
- Develop commercial plans that balance growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.
- Partner closely with supply chain and marketing teams to improve demand planning and market activation.
- Monitor market trends, customer dynamics, and competitive activity to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive performance management across distributor networks through clear KPIs and accountability measures.
- Ensure strong governance around pricing, inventory management, trade investments, and commercial compliance.
Must Have
- 15+ years of FMCG sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record managing distributor-led businesses across multiple markets.
- Strong experience across Middle East, export, or international markets.
- Deep understanding of regional retail, wholesale, and distribution environments.
- Experience within packaged food, snacking, impulse, ready-to-eat, or adjacent FMCG categories preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder groups.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced growth environments.
