Our Client
Our client is a well-established FMCG and food distribution organization with a strong footprint across Saudi Arabia.
The business represents a portfolio of leading international and regional food brands and is focused on expanding its presence within the foodservice and HoReCa channels.
Role Overview
The Food Service Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration across the foodservice channel, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, bakeries, and institutional accounts.
The role requires a commercially driven individual who can develop strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with distributors and internal stakeholders to achieve sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the foodservice sales strategy to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
- Manage and grow relationships with key HoReCa, catering, bakery, and institutional customers across Saudi Arabia.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the foodservice sector.
- Drive product listings, menu placements, and customer-specific growth initiatives.
- Work closely with chefs, purchasing teams, and foodservice operators to understand customer needs and recommend suitable product solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations, annual agreements, and pricing discussions with key accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with marketing, supply chain, and category teams to ensure effective execution of customer plans.
- Manage distributor relationships and ensure strong market coverage and execution standards.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and performance reports for management.
- Ensure achievement of KPIs related to sales growth, customer retention, and profitability.
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Foodservice Sales, HoReCa Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development within the FMCG or food industry.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi foodservice market and customer landscape.
- Established network across hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, and institutional accounts.
- Experience managing distributor-led sales models.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance and develop strategic growth plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
