Lead and oversee day-to-day operations for a transport and hospitality business.
Ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective transportation service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage transport and fleet operations to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Plan and optimize routes, schedules, fleet utilization, and resource allocation.
- Lead drivers, operations staff, and support teams.
- Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and company procedures.
- Implement operational processes and KPIs to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
- Manage customers, suppliers, contractors, and other business partner relationships.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, minimize downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in transport, fleet, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of fleet management, transportation operations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to manage teams and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
- English is mandatory; Hindi/Urdu are listed as job-related languages.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 4,000 to QAR 6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
